Bioshocked [UPDATE: More Posters!]

I finished Bioshock Infinite the other day and it's still rattling around in my head. That game was an experience. The rich world building, the gorgeous art, the sharp writing, it all worked together to create a story that sucks you in, and then stays with you. Like the original Portal, Bioshock Infinite is a game that expands the medium. Sure, this story could have been told in a movie or book, but it works best as a game. Walking around in that world, soaking up every little detail, listening to audio diaries and overheard conversations, those things enrich the narrative.

It's rare a game's story sticks in my brain like this. As a writer and gaming enthusiast, this was the kind of story I want to see more of. Stuff like this elevates the medium as a storytelling platform. If you have any interest at all in how games can be used to tell cool stories, find a way to play Bioshock Infinite. You'll be glad you did.

Because I can't stop thinking about the game, I made a poster. I'd like to do two more (if you've beaten it, you can guess what they'd be). I'm wondering if I can make them cryptic enough to not spoil anything. Enjoy the posters!

[UPDATE: All the posters are up and available for purchase at my Society6 store.]
