The Animation Barstool Ad
We had some room in the media buying budget for another ad, but not enough to shoot something, also not enough money to buy anything during primetime. So we opted for an animated ad with one criteria: you should be able to understand it if you saw it on one of the screens with no sound while eating at Buffalo Wild Wings.
The ad performed well, and later became the basis for our social media strategy for a while. Turns out people respond well to big, easy-to-understand graphics and direct messaging.
