Mini Reviews: PoP, Android, 24, To The Sea

It's been a while since I blogged--had to catch up with work after the vacation--so here are a few mini reviews of some review-worthy things.

Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands
Huge PoP nut (you know this), so I bought this instead of Red Dead Redemption. Today, I took advantage of GameStop's extra 50 percent credit deal and traded it in for RDR. I blew through this game in about a week and a half, twice. Don't let its brevity deter you though, there's some solid platforming here; a worthy Gamefly rental if there ever was one. It's a bit like a summer blockbuster: a ton of fun, but ultimately forgettable, and that's coming from a PoP mega fan. If you liked the Sands of Time trilogy, you'll have a great time with this.
Overall: 8/10
The best part:
The final ascent to the end boss has some super tricky platforming that requires deft button work.
The worst part:
The story had potential to be better than decent, but wasn't. Same with the combat.
