See I rarely get sick, but when I do it's always really bad, but really short. My wife is the opposite, when she's sick, it lingers for days, sometimes weeks. Me, I'm violently ill for 24 hours, then I'm okay. I came really close to ending my 14 year no vomit streak yesterday though, that was scary. I think my life-time of acid reflux disease has given me extraordinary vomit-resisting powers. I'm still not feeling 100 percent--definitely not up for a run today--but I should be good by Saturday. I better be.
Anyways, that's why I'm late for my March goal update. I spent my day yesterday in bed, my dog at my feet (side note: isn't cool how they know when you're sick? Berkeley didn't leave my side once yesterday), watching stuff on Netflix. I finally got to see Dr. Horrible's Sing-a-long Blog and it was as wonderful as everyone said it was. If you have a Netflix account, I recommend checking it out. It's on Instant View now.
Let's check out last month's goals.
-Get at least 100 new people to sign up for UnitWise |Hooray for doing my job!
-Attend all the networking events I’m scheduled to attend, and do my best to help someone out while there |Yep, had some fun with those too
-Take Brooke on an awesome Valentine’s Day dinner |Yep
-Get our passports for our trip to Italy in May |Did you know the passport office is only open 10 to 4 Mon through Thur? That's ridiculous!
-Hit my training goals for the half-marathon |Yeah, this random sickness has thrown me off this week though...
-Save some money |Yep, also came up with a great plan for our future as far as savings goes.
-Finish a couple of illustrations I have in the works |Yep, and even found time to enter a Shirt.Woot derby
-Organize our important files| No, didn't get around to this one
-Finally watch and return Wolverine on Blu-Ray from Netflix–I’ve had that stupid thing for like two months! |I can't believe I let that sit around that long. That movie sucked! Why was Wolverine so mopey and emotional? Why wasn't there more awesomeness?
