Falling back to goals

It’s been quite some time since I did a monthly goals post. I think the last one must have been May. At first I was just going to not do them in the summer, because, I don’t know, it was summer time. But then summer ended, and I still didn’t put them up. I realized today I really miss them, and since I’m starting to fill my plate with all kinds of delicacies at life’s buffet, I figured it’d be a good idea to bring them back.

Usually, this is the point where I would go over last month’s goals and see if I completed them, but I don’t have a list of September goals, so we’ll just jump right into my October list.

October Goals

-Find a house! Seriously, the excitement of house hunting wears off after you’ve seen a bajillion houses. Our realtor says a lot of first time homebuyers are picky, but I think she’s just being nice.

-Finish my novel’s outline and start writing. I have four chapters left on the outline as of now, so this one is looking good!

-Try to get in a couple more freelance gigs. Fall is always a good freelance time for me.

-Go to a Halloween party with Brooke and wear a ridiculous costume

-Get everything sorted out with the car my brother-in-law gave us

-Find someone to give our old car to

-Save money for the eventual move

I think that will do it for October. I excluded my work goals from the list because I have a different list of goals there, and if I merged the two, it’s be incredibly overwhelming, and extremely boring to read. So I’m back to the goal game, anyone else got some October goals? Feel free to post them in the comments. Hooray for accountability!
