1120 to Yuma

I’m heading out to Yuma, Ariz on the 11:20 flight today. I’ve been drawing the city for months in Fuddle Learns to Cuddle, and now I’ll get to see it for real. The folks down there have all kinds of fun things planned for me and Brooke. We’ve got a segway tour, a Fuddle festival, an art show, I’m doing interviews with the local media, teaching some art classes, and auctioning off some of my work--it’s going to be great.

The folks at KIDS have been so kind and they’re treating me like some kind of celebrity while I’m there. I can’t wait to meet them face to face and thank them. If I find some time while I’m there, I’ll post some pictures of what I’m doing, if not I’ll just do one giant post when I get back.

In other news I’m about to start my third lesson in my digital painting class. I haven’t posted anything about it yet because I’m waiting for his critique, which will usually be about a week behind our submissions. As soon as I get feedback on my first assignment, I’ll let you know. The class is amazing so far, only two lessons in and I’ve already learned a ton. He’s got me using some of the tools I use in Photoshop in ways I never thought of. I can’t wait to see what is in store for this week.

Also, E3 is going on right now, which is like the nerd Super Bowl. If I’m slow in updating my blogs, it’s because I’m too busy soaking in all the delicious electronic goodness.
